Sunny weather finally came out in April and has brought us a nice period of dry riding with bare arms and legs. V-Sprinters also got going with many venturing out to start the yearly exodus to Mallorca.

Miles are starting to be munched with the club doing a successful April 100 to Hayles Farm. Training is going well for those with upcoming special events – Jenny on a taper to Lost Dot 101 supported by Matt who himself pulled off a great 174 mile coast to coast single speed ride. Gareth J and Russ are also getting their sessions in with a bit of tile hunting.

James has been back to Scotland to practice his MTB skills, and racing has started with Laura, Paul S, Gareth F and Lewis all pinning on the numbers during April. As far as old bikes go, Nic Hill, with Jim’s assistance, has got a beautiful Simoncini back on the road and ready for the Cotswolds Retro.
