Returning to group rides
As V-Sprint is a British Cycling affiliated club, from 29th March group rides of up to 15 riders are permitted. These rules are in place until 170, May when, provided there is no change to the expected relaxation of restrictions, all restrictions will be removed.
There are 3 Ride Types
• Member Rides – Groups of 6 or less – need no club involvement
• Member Rides – Groups of more than 6 – These must be club sanctioned with one person on the ride taking responsibility. To arrange a ride contact one of the committee 24 hours in advance. If your ride group is larger than 6, and the ride is not club sanctioned, your insurance will be invalid and you will be in breach of COVID regulations and may be prosecuted.
• Club Rides—See below start information
Members and non members are permitted on all rides, but all must be aware of the club COVID rules (see our website). Coffee stops during and after rides are permitted, but are subject to government guidance on hospitality venues. Track and Trace will be implemented for all rides
