DESCRIPTION:The original madhare sportive\, The Mad March Hare returns for a 15th edition in 2023! \nThe 100km/66mile route meanders through quiet rolling country lanes with a few climbs to test those spring legs. \nNew Venue \nWe are very happy to have found a new home for the Mad March Hare in 2023 at the Transport Museum Wythall – a local attraction and charity that brings the history of transport to life for families and enthusiasts to enjoy. \nThe venue has plenty of space for us to add our Madhare flair; as well as all the seating and toilets we could wish for! The museum will be closed to the public during the event (so we have the place to ourselves) but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some classic buses and vehicles on show and even a miniature railway!  \nCar Parking \nThere will be exclusive off-site car parking available no more than 500m away from the venue. Tickets for parking are available through the entry form. \nNew Pricing Structure \nThe base price includes: \nWell signposted 100km route with new route sections\, hill marshals (with Jelly Babies!) and downloadable GPS route \nRace number with timings chip \nRegistration pack pick-up party (Gorilla Coffee Cafes) \nHot drinks and bananas at the start line \nGreat food on route including lunch\, snacks\, energy gels and water \nMechanical support provided by Gorilla Cycling Cafe \nMedical support provided by Transmed \nBroom wagon @ avg 12mph \n​Twenty6 Events – the new owners of Madhare – are committed to creating sustainable events and reducing waste.
