SUMMARY:Beyond the Dyke Audax
DESCRIPTION:211km cycling event starting from Belbroughton\, Worcesteshire. Controls at Craven Arms\, Presteigne and Belboughton. \nDwell with the Marcher Lords in the border bad lands of England and Wales. Offa may be dead but this part of the country remains remote and sometimes wild. Good for the autumn too! \nI am sure you will be asking\, is this another Beacon RCC Kidderminster Killer type event. No it is not. Whilst hilly in parts\, there are plenty of good easy bits in between but suffice to say you will feel pleasantly tired and rewarded at the end of the day. Across the Dyke was conceived years ago by the late Alan Mason. The event was resurrected in 2018 and received good reviews for the route but not for the wet weather. We cannot guarantee dry weather for 2021 but hopefully the weather will be better! Covid depending\, the GHQ will be laying on food yet again as we return to providing proper Audax calendar events again.

SUMMARY:Women on Wheels Sportive
DESCRIPTION:A warm welcome from Women on Wheels (WoW)\, a Worcestershire based all-female cycling club. \nWe hope you can join us for a challenge and a great day out on your bike on the WOW Sportive\, the first all-female sportive to be held in glorious Worcestershire. So\, we’ve been studying the maps and have three beautiful safe routes to choose from\, all starting from Norton Parish Hall\, four miles south east of Worcester – plonk in the middle of lovely lanes. \nIf this is your first time\, or you are a sportive regular\, we have something to suit you. There are three distances on offer \nWadborough Wanderer – 16 miles (26 km) of local country lanes that surround the Sportive HQ. This is the perfect ride for anyone thinking of trying a sportive for the first time. \nOverbury Outing – 32 miles (51 km) of riding which take you little further afield\, with some hills and fabulous views as a reward. Great for those wanting a little more of a challenge. \nWorcestershire Weaver – 66 miles (106 km) in which to explore the glorious Worcestershire countryside. Undulating. This is suited to the more experienced rider. \nThe two longer routes will have a feed station and the shorter route has Croome Court café at half way. We hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:Stourport Circuit Sessions
DESCRIPTION:The Club has decided to put on some ride sessions at the Stourport Criterium Circuit on the last Sunday of every month from April 25th until 31st Oct. (12-2pm). This is a closed road 1Km circuit and excellent for riders to learn some cornering & racing skills\, but above all just have some fun. \nApril 25th is the first session\, If you are interested in attending this event then please book your place with Lee Gardner to ensure any current COVID guidelines are met. \nPlease support these events
